Now this is disturbing:

GET READY for your flu shot, everyone. When Obama’s new health care package gains traction, you can bet one of the primary features will be compulsory vaccinations of all participants.

This is especially concerning given the news that HHS Secretary Kathleen Sibelius has just offered $35M to a privately owned company called Protein Sciences to refine its DNA based vaccine against ’swine flu’ (H1N1).

A gay couple adopted a black son, and then one of the “fathers” sexually molested the boy, and offered him on the Internet for molestation to another person. The gay couple lives in a private co-housing community.

The article, by the AP, does not mention that the child is black, that the couple is gay, nor has anything to say about the “compound” the couple live on.

If they were Christian, it is likely everyone in the co-housing community would be arrested, and the couple’s entire philosophical worldview would be scrutinized, criticized, and blamed for the behavior, and every child would be placed in the hands of CPS. But is this man a priest? A preacher? No, he is this:

Lombard, a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree in social work, is a health-disparities researcher who studies HIV/AIDS in the rural South.

He is an educated liberal, a social worker, a light worker in this age of Obamamessianism. And he is charged with this:

Federal authorities say Lombard, 42, of 24 Indigo Creek Trail, performed sexual acts on his son and invited an undercover investigator online to fly to North Carolina and do the same.

Lombard owns the home with another man, according to Durham County property records. … Investigators seized two webcams, five computers and a sex toy, among other items, after searching his home.

And the neighborhood, instead of being raided, and the children seized, simply circled the wagons:

Neighbors of Lombard had nothing to say about him Saturday to a reporter who visited Eno Commons, a co-housing community in north Durham.

Residents ordered the reporter to leave the neighborhood, which emphasizes communal life.

A roadblock with a “no trespassing” sign and a Subaru greeted visitors Saturday to Indigo Creek Trail, a private street in the 22-home neighborhood.

Co-housing communities allow residents have a say in the area’s design, and they manage and maintain the community together. Decisions are made through consensus, and residents share common space.

Since this is gay couple, this will be treated as private criminal matter, and quickly die from the headlines. Even the headline is misleading: Neighbors close in after sex charges. The term “close in” makes it seem like they are going after the resident, when in fact they are not.

Now that the WHO has declared swine flu to be a global pandemic—the first in 41 years—a mega-pharmaceutical company, Baxter AG, is developing a vaccine. What are the odds that vaccine will be forced on all Americans when the virus “kicks up” again in the fall? What would the profits for Baxter look like if most of the world took their medicine, so to speak? And how would the world look to the global elite if it were trimmed of a few billion people?

We need to be aware that swine flu was widely described as being a mix of human flu, bird flu, and swine flu viruses and many speculated it was engineered in a lab and was released—or escaped. It should also be noted that the very same Baxter, vaccine producer, “mistakenly” shipped 72 kilos of live bird flu viruses in vaccine vials earlier in 2009.

With that in mind, consider the following parts of this disturbing story:

As the anticipated July release date for Baxter’s A/H1N1 flu pandemic vaccine approaches, an Austrian investigative journalist is warning the world that the greatest crime in the history of humanity is underway. Jane Burgermeister has recently filed criminal charges with the FBI against the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations (UN), and several of the highest ranking government and corporate officials concerning bioterrorism and attempts to commit mass murder. She has also prepared an injunction against forced vaccination which is being filed in America.

And…

The charges contend that these defendants conspired with each other and others to devise, fund and participate in the final phase of the implementation of a covert international bioweapons program involving the pharmaceutical companies Baxter and Novartis. They did this by bioengineering and then releasing lethal biological agents, specifically the “bird flu” virus and the “swine flu virus” in order to have a pretext to implement a forced mass vaccination program which would be the means of administering a toxic biological agent to cause death and injury to the people of the U.S. This action is in direct violation of the Biological Weapons Anti-terrorism Act.

The story goes on to imply that by declaring a level 6 pandemic—which has already been done—mechanisms are triggered that would allow the UN and world governments to take a heavy hand with the populace to control the virus. The end game? Right out of a novel: destroy the US, subsume the continent under a North American Union, and let the UN and a global elite syndicate run things.

Using the “swine flu” as a pretext, the defendants have preplanned the mass murder of the U.S. population by means of forced vaccination. They have installed an extensive network of FEMA concentration camps and identified mass grave sites, and they have been involved in devising and implementing a scheme to hand power over the U.S. to an international crime syndicate that uses the UN and WHO as a front for illegal racketeering influenced organized crime activities, in violation of the laws that govern treason.

She further charges that the complex of pharmaceutical companies consisting of Baxter, Novartis and Sanofi Aventis are part of a foreign-based dual purpose bioweapons program, financed by this international criminal syndicate and designed to implement mass murder to reduce the world’s population by more than 5 billion people in the next ten years. Their plan is to spread terror to justify forcing people to give up their rights, and to force mass quarantine in FEMA camps. The houses, companies and farms and lands of those who are killed will be up for grabs by this syndicate.

By eliminating the population of North America, the international elite gain access to the region’s natural resources such as water and undeveloped oil lands. And by eliminating the U.S. and its democratic constitution by subsuming it under a North American Union, the international crime group will have total control over North America.

Yes, it sounds a bit over the top, but it is not beyond the realm of possibility.

North Korea is feeling confident, so confident they’re ready to annihilate the United States:

“If the U.S. imperialists start another war, the army and people of Korea will … wipe out the aggressors on the globe once and for all,”

The above statement is from the official Korean news agency. At issue is the tailing of a North Korean ship by US forces:

Off China’s coast, a U.S. destroyer was tailing a North Korean ship suspected of transporting illicit weapons to Myanmar in what could be the first test of U.N. sanctions passed to punish the nation for an underground nuclear test last month.

The Kang Nam left the North Korean port of Nampo a week ago with the USS John S. McCain close behind. The ship, accused of transporting banned goods in the past, is believed bound for Myanmar, according to South Korean and U.S. officials.

The new U.N. Security Council resolution requires member states to seek permission to inspect suspicious cargo. North Korea has said it would consider interception a declaration of war and on Wednesday accused the U.S. of seeking to provoke another Korean War.

In the video there is a lot of destruction–perhaps topping all disaster movies. The cause appears to be astronomical…but tsunamis, earthquakes, who knows what’s really happening in the story.

The trailer does reference a “new beginning” so the theme is likely the destruction of humanity and the birth of a new age of some sort.

It appears that US Customs and Border Patrol are experimenting with the use of Predator drones to patrol the great lakes area. And they’re going to let the local police use them too (in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act?):

The Predator will operate out of Fort Drum for about three weeks for testing and training, and to evaluate its use to law enforcement.

John Stanton, director of CPB’s Office of Air and Marine, said state, provincial and local law enforcement agencies were quick to take up the offer of added surveillance of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River.

“So while we were flying, we were asked by our partner law enforcement agencies if we would be kind enough to be on the lookout for suspicious activities,” Stanton said.

Not only is Big Brother on Facebook, he also may be your elected official. Several stories emerge today that seem to cross paths as far as privacy is concerned…and none of it is good.

Obama moved the US Census under his control earlier this year, and now political activist groups like ACORN will be involved in providing personnel for the data collection process. The census, originally meant to be a counting of individuals within a household, has grown over the years with the “long form” now including information on each individual’s age, race, telephone numbers, education level, marriage history, former places of residence, disabilities, personal behavior, job commuting information, times of work, employment history, wages, and income. Thankfully, one US representative is trying to make a stink:

In an interview Wednesday morning with The Washington Times “America’s Morning News,” Mrs. Bachmann, Minnesota Republican, said the questions have become “very intricate, very personal” and she also fears ACORN, the community organizing group that came under fire for its voter registration efforts last year, will be part of the Census Bureau’s door-to-door information collection efforts.

“I know for my family the only question we will be answering is how many people are in our home,” she said. “We won’t be answering any information beyond that, because the Constitution doesn’t require any information beyond that.”

If that wasn’t Big Brother enough for you, if you want a city job in Bozeman, MT, you’ll need to surrender your usernames and passwords to your Facebook account, Yahoo, Gmail, and other social networking sites. Understand, this is not just showing the city your sites, but giving them login access.

As part of routine background checks, the city asks job applicants to provide their usernames and passwords for their social-networking sites. And it has been doing it for years, city officials said.

“Please list any and all, current personal or business Web sites, Web pages or memberships on any Internet-based chat rooms, social clubs or forums, to include, but not limited to: Facebook, Google, Yahoo, YouTube.com, MySpace, etc.,” states a city waiver form applicants are asked to sign. Three lines are provided for applicants to list log-in information for each site.

Simply amazing.

Like to use Facebook? Think it harmless to use those “Apps” that need access to your data? You might be surrendering more marketing data for free than you realize:

The [Facebook App], which claims 15m active users each month, seeks to identify and link family members who are already on the network, even if they are only distantly related.

However, Facebook users who sign up for We’re Related are given little idea how much of their personal information will be siphoned by the application, or – in the soothingly benign language of social networking – with whom this information will be “shared”.

New users are asked to give a blanket approval to let the application “pull your profile information, photos, your friends’ info and other content that it requires to work”. The application then appears to give itself the power to release this information to anyone else on Facebook – even if users have set stricter privacy settings to limit access to their personal data. That is the sort of thing that has now attracted the attention of Europe’s privacy regulators.

The information age!

It is astonishing to think that a hugely indebted consumer population recently bailed out its banks while retaining all the consumer debt. But then again, the people didn’t do this–it was a president, some elite bankers, and their cohorts in congress. Extending credit is a risk, and if a bank fails because of it, so be it. Yes, people must repay their debt but if they can’t, they don’t get tax money–oh wait, unless they’re already rich and owe money to other rich people. But apparently this game has been going on for a while, and is only getting worse:

As the credit crisis has continued, there has been a noticeable revolution of debt from the books of the international bankers onto the backs of the American tax-payers. At every turn, this rotation of debt has spread to include the credit card industry, the student loan industry, mortgages, the automobile industry, and soon, the commercial mortgage industry. The idea of piggybacking debt onto the backs of the American taxpayer began with the same type of financial maneuvers that occurred in the late 18thC.

The credit crisis has also allowed us to see how the position of Treasury Secretary has become one of change agent and facilitator for the Federal Reserve as that position shifts power away from Congress at every turn to the Federal Reserve. Even The Washington Post on May 30 discussed how the Federal Reserve was given vast emergency powers in 1991. This power was orchestrated by Senator Christopher Dodd which have been used 19 times since March, 2008 to expand its power. Because it is a private corporation, many are “concerned that an institution not accountable to voters is risking vast amounts of public money and choosing which companies get help.” The Post article stated concern over the Fed’s rescue programs “that are outside the reach of Congress” and their recent agreement to “spur up to $1T in new lending by funding the purchase of securitized loans.” Congress is not thinking twice about the large amounts of power that they have vested in the Federal Reserve. Power which they are not and will not be able to “reign back in.” In other words, we may be reaching a time when Congress is no longer necessary as they have transferred their power to a private corporation, the Federal Reserve.

What will happen in 2012? It is the opinion of this site that there will be no new age transcendent event in 2012 but there very well could be a plethora of human-caused political problems and dire spiritual trouble as well. There may also be dangers from the coming Solar Max, the 26,000 year galactic procession, and other natural phenomena. Our civilization is also pushing ethical and moral boundaries like never before, and the coincidence of the celestial dangers of 2012 with the social and political problems here on Earth, reminds us that the hand of God is always active. Today an excellent article appears written by professor Courtenay Bartholomew regarding 2012, the Mayans, and dangers from the celestial realm. He speaks on the accuracy of Mayan astronomical calculations:

More recently, scientific advances have given the length of the solar year to be 365.2422 days but strangely and inexplicably enough, the Mayan calendar (between 300 and 800 AD) had previously achieved even greater accuracy and had calculated the solar year to be 365.2420 days, a minor error of only 0.0002 of a day. They also calculated the length of the lunar month to be 29.53029 days, which is only within 30 seconds of what we now know to be its actual length of 29.53059 days! But from where came this genius?

He also goes on to speculate about the next solar cycle:

Significantly, very significantly, the next maximum solar flares are calculated to start in 2011 and peak in the year 2012. Their ejections can travel millions of miles into the interplanetary space and can cause very serious disruptions of satellite (including banking and military), radio and electronic communications. There are also scientists who believe that seismic events, earthquakes, volcanoes and hurricanes are triggered by sharp fluctuations in sunspot activity and also that certain planetary configurations and alignments have a powerful influence on the sun.

Indeed, the great wave of hurricanes (Katrina, Rita and Wilma) coincided with one of the stormiest events in the recorded history of the sun. One prominent Russian scientist has declared that the sun’s peculiar behaviour today is unlike anything we have seen since the ending of the last ice age of 11,000 years ago and many solar physicists concur that the Sun’s solar activity will peak at record-breaking levels in 2012.

An interesting article appears today discussing the ancient Altar of Zeus, the Antichrist, and Obama. An excerpt:

An extraordinary example of this was when Obama gave his speech in Berlin, Germany, on July 24th, 2008, titled “The World that Stands as One.” More than a few students of occult history took notice of the symbolism and location of the event, even causing some who until then had rejected any “antichrist” labels hurled at Obama to reconsider their position. This included respected Catholic writer Michael O’Brien, best known for his apocalyptic novel Father Elijah. O’Brien had received numerous letters and emails from subscribers and visitors to his website wondering if Obama was the Antichrist. At first O’Brien wrote that this was not possible. Then a friend that had seen Obama’s speech in Berlin called him, talking about how mesmerizing the speech was and that an announcer over German radio had said: “We have just heard the next President of the United States… and the future President of the World.” By now Obama was conveying an unusual likeness to the Antichrist character of his novel. After watching the Berlin speech several times for himself, O’Brien sent out a newsletter in which he admitted that, while he still doubted Obama was the prophesied ruler of the end times, he had come to believe he was “a carrier of a deadly moral virus, indeed a kind of anti-apostle spreading concepts and agendas that are not only anti-Christ but anti-human as well.” O’Brien finally conceded Obama could be instrumental in ushering in the dreaded Great Tribulation period, and worse, that he was “of the spirit of Antichrist.”

We have an expanding war in Afghanistan. We have a war funding bill soaked with extras for big companies with DC connections. We have local firms squeezed out of lucrative “stimulus” projects in favor, yes, big companies with DC connections.

We have a president who has pretty much declared war on business unless you are a political crony and DC insider.

And the media is totally complacent, gripped in a passionate love affair with “the chosen one” of our times:

When Barack Obama decided that questions from the German press about his trip agenda in that country were too pesky, he told the reporters, “So, stop it all of you!” He just wanted them to ask things he wanted to talk about. Well, what politico wouldn’t want that?

OK, dad. We’ll behave.

And according to a new Pew Research Center poll, we are behaving…like fans. On domestic press, it showed that “President Barack Obama has enjoyed substantially more positive media coverage than either Bill Clinton or George W. Bush during their first months in the White House” with “roughly twice as much” Obama coverage about his “personal or leadership qualities” than was the case for either previous president.

The writer above doesn’t believe Obama is “getting away with anything,” but there are those who would beg to differ, especially when it comes to Obama’s claims of measuring “saved” jobs due to his stimulus spending:

Mr. Fratto sees a double standard at play. “We would never have used a formula like ’save or create,’” he tells me. “To begin with, the number is pure fiction – the administration has no way to measure how many jobs are actually being ’saved.’ And if we had tried to use something this flimsy, the press would never have let us get away with it.”

Of course, the inability to measure Mr. Obama’s jobs formula is part of its attraction. …

And get away with it he has. However dubious it may be as an economic measure, as a political formula “save or create” allows the president to invoke numbers that convey an illusion of precision. Harvard economist and former Bush economic adviser Greg Mankiw calls it a “non-measurable metric.” And on his blog, he acknowledges the political attraction. …

“You would think that any self-respecting White House press corps would show some of the same skepticism toward President Obama’s jobs claims that they did toward President Bush’s tax cuts,” says Mr. Fratto. “But I’m still waiting.”

And you’ll keep waiting. The press, and Obama’s supporters, don’t care about reality. They won the election, nothing matters anymore, not even Obama’s continued wiretapping program once criticized under Bush, or his desire for greater presidential power.

What will the future of transhumanism deliver? A network of machines that enslave us like the Matrix? A network of machines that exterminate us like Skynet? Or perhaps a race of superior cyborgs, united in mind and purpose, that merely seek to assimilate us into their collective consciousness. Most likely it will be some flavor of the latter. We may not become Borg overnight, but through a combination of genetic and cybernetic enhancement a new class of humans will emerge separate from the mere organic humans. The superclass will at first be the technological and corporate elite of today, those that already wear hands-free bluetooth devices welded to their ears, that “text” while walking, that “twitter” at meal time. The organics will be those in the developed world who resist such technology, the religious, the nature-oriented, perhaps the wise, and certainly the world’s poor.

But how long will it last before they ensnare the rest of us in their plans? We can only wonder.

An advanced academic institution sponsored by leading lights including NASA and Google (so it couldn’t sound smarter if Brainiac 5 traveled back in time to attend the opening ceremony). The “Singularity” is the idea of a future point where super-human intellects are created, turbo-boosting the already exponential rate of technological improvement and triggering a fundamental change in human society - after the Agricultural Revolution, and the Industrial Revolution, we would have the Intelligence Revolution. …

The Singularity University proposes to train people to deal with the accelerating evolution of technology, both in terms of understanding the directions and harnessing the potential of new interactions between branches of science like artificial intelligence, genetic engineering and nanotechnology.

Inventor and author Raymond Kurzweil is one of the forces behind SU, which we presume will have the most awesomely equipped pranks of all time ("Check it out, we replaced the Professor’s chair with an adaptive holographic robot!"), and it isn’t the only institutions he’s helped found. There’s also the Singularity Institute for Artificial Intelligence whose sole function is based on the exponential AI increases predicted. The idea is that the first AI created will have an enormous advantage over all that follow, upgrading itself at a rate they can never catch up on simply because it started first, so the Institute wants to work to create a benevolent AI to guard us against all that might follow.

We’ve asked before and will ask again. Does this sound like a good idea? To genetically alter food so that it contains vaccines?

A string of news articles on vaccines contained in GM food have hit the media over the last few days. The articles talked about research being carried out to see if it would work. But that is exactly what it is, re-search. Current scientists, on a lower level, re-doing the work that has been proven to work at an equivalent or higher level years ago. The New Scientist article below publicly reported in 2005 that Arizona State University’s re-search from 2003 successfully created “Genetically engineered potatoes containing a hepatitis B vaccine” which caused human volunteers to produce a “large number of extra antibodies”.

A great write-up appears today on the danger of GMO foods covering not only the motive behind Monsanto’s push for adoption, including their lies to the environmental movement, but also data on how GM soy is dangerous:

In addition to the toxicity of glyphosate, several animal studies have found several health issues directly related to the consumption of GM-soybean. Rabbits fed GM-soy were found to have altered enzymatic activity in their livers as well as a higher metabolic activity [7]. Microscopic analyses of the livers of mice fed Roundup Ready soybeans revealed altered gene expression and structural and functional changes [8]. Much of these changes reversed after the mice diet was switched to non-GM soy, indicating that GM soy was the culprit.

Molecular geneticist Michael Antoniou, Ph.D., described that the findings “are not random and must reflect some ‘insult’ on the liver by the GM soy.” Antoniou, who does human gene therapy research in King’s College London, said that although the long-term consequences of the GM soy diet are not known, it “could lead to liver damage and consequently general toxemia” [9].

A study presented in December of 2005 by Dr. Ermakova found that rats fed a GM-soy flour diet had 56 percent of their offspring die at birth compared to only 8 percent in the control group [10]. Ermakova (2005) also reported that, “From the data it is evident, that 36% of the pups from the GM soya group weighed less than 20 g, in comparison with the 6% in the positive control group, and with the 6.7% found in the traditional soya supplemented diet group. Study of pups’ organs mass showed that the organs of small pups from GM group were tiny in comparison with the same of other groups except the brain mass. This fact indicated that the pups from the GM group were the same age as others, but changes were occurred with the development of internal organs” [10]. Furthermore, Ermakova found that the male rats who were fed GM soy had their testicles change color from normal pink to dark blue.

According to sources, the US has reached Defcon 2, a lower than normal point on the 5 point scale representing the defense condition of US forces. Peacetime level is 5, wartime is 1.

Sources close to MiNa claim the US Army has moved their alert level to Defcon 2. This was initiated by the alarming situation in North Korea. The US Army has over 35,000 troops stationed in South Korea, well within reach of North Korean convential weapons.

North Korea has the largest artillery force (can be equipped with nuclear warheads) in the world, which adds more to the already tense situation.

Earlier today, N. Korea’s leader Kim Jong issued threaths to the South Korean and US Navy ships for coming too close to North Korea’s territorial waters. The South Koreans and the Americans, may be positioning themselves for a preemptive strike.

Some say this is a direct result of Obama’s weakness in foreign policy, and we can expect more destabilization. The author cites not only North Korea and Iran, but destabilization in Sudan, and derision of Obama in Cuba who had been almost ready to release political prisoners.

This week, Fidel Castro ended any speculation that the U.S. and Cuba would soon be headed toward warmer relations. Castro declared in an essay on the government’s website that any talk of freeing the roughly 250 political prisoners in Cuba’s gulag is a nonstarter. Castro, who had previously expressed admiration for Obama, criticized the American president for showing signs of “superficiality.”

These past few days have made clear that Barack Obama’s charm and kindness offensive has accomplished little other than to validate a group of despotic leaders reassured in their belief that they can act with impunity. All this comes at a bad time, just as the Obama administration’s budget proposals include a decrease in funding for our own missile defense programs.

What do I think? Maybe the US should stop playing world cop, and make Europe invest in its own defense. Maybe instead of having trading partners who seek to subsidize their industries and rip us off because they don’t have to pay for a defense budget, we should insist everyone take part in protecting their own backyard. Freedom isn’t free, and the US shouldn’t be buying everyone else’s. The US government needs to stop playing the harlot to major corporations and world leaders with our tax money. The founders would faint and die if they saw they state of our nation.

Researchers have created transgenic monkeys and watched as the genetic alterations were passed to offspring. If anyone still had doubts, this confirms that genetic tinkering cannot be contained, is permanent, and will in fact have a life of its own in the world. But don’t worry, people have never done anything wrong, right? Researchers consider it a milestone:

It was a milestone, experts said, that should make it easier to produce animals with versions of human disease for medical research.

For the study, the researchers used a gene that makes tissues glow under ultraviolet light, as an easy way to see where the gene is present. They put the gene in a virus that would insert it into the DNA of cells, and then injected the virus into marmoset embryos. From these embryos, five healthy marmosets were born. All showed evidence of having inherited the gene.

Later, one of those animals fathered a male by test-tube fertilization. The gene was shown to be active in the offspring’s skin.

“The birth of this transgenic marmoset baby is undoubtedly a milestone,” Gerald Schatten of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and a colleague wrote in a Nature commentary.

Prices may increase at rates “close to” Zimbabwe’s gains, Faber said in an interview with Bloomberg Television in Hong Kong. Zimbabwe’s inflation rate reached 231 million percent in July, the last annual rate published by the statistics office.

“I am 100 percent sure that the U.S. will go into hyperinflation,” Faber said. “The problem with government debt growing so much is that when the time will come and the Fed should increase interest rates, they will be very reluctant to do so and so inflation will start to accelerate.”

One in eight homes is in or near foreclosure:

One of eight U.S. households with a mortgage ended the first quarter late on loan payments or in the foreclosure process in a crisis that will persist for at least another year until unemployment peaks, the Mortgage Bankers Association said on Thursday.

And the US unemployment rate is very high:

“We clearly haven’t hit the top yet in terms of delinquencies or the bottom of the housing market,” Jay Brinkmann, the association’s chief economist, said in an interview.

Evidence appears to be mounting that the Obama administration has systematically targeted for closing Chrysler dealers who contributed to Repubicans. What started earlier this week as mainly a rumbling on the Right side of the Blogosphere has gathered some steam today with revelations that among the dealers being shut down are a GOP congressman and closing of competitors to a dealership chain partly owned by former Clinton White House chief of staff Mack McLarty.

From ynetnews.com: Russia is taking precautionary security measures, including military ones, because it fears tensions over North Korea’s atomic test could descend into nuclear war, news agencies quoted an official as saying on Wednesday.

Interfax quoted an unnamed security source as saying that a stand-off triggered by Pyongyang’s nuclear test on Monday could affect the security of Russia’s far eastern regions, which border North Korea.

“The need has emerged for an appropriate package of precautionary measures,” the source said.

“We are not talking about stepping up military efforts but rather about measures in case a military conflict, perhaps with the use of nuclear weapons, flares up on the Korean Peninsula,” he added.
